What's to come for Makeup this Fall?

So the weather will be changing soon enough and I'm sure you're wondering what will I need to add to my makeup bag once Pumpkin Spice is poppin?

Ombre Lips: “It’s all about looking at your natural lip colors and accentuating that,” says Holm in Glamour Magazine. The great thing about an Ombre lip is that anyone can wear it and it can be done with lip gloss, lipstick, or matte lip colors. This lip technique can be just enough to run to the store in sweats or it can glam any fully made up face. Ombre is a technique that was made popular in the 90s and it has resurfaced. Honestly its a technique that I love. It gives dimension to lips and creates a pout like no other!

So how do we achieve this look? You can do a subtle ombre or an extreme. You want to start by choosing your colors. Subtle should be colors in the same family that are no more than 2 to 3 apart. Extreme would be different color families like red and black, or pearl and raisin. This is definitely a technique that you can play around with, You want to start by exfoliating your lips with a grainy lip scrub to remove

any excess dead skin and then hydrate with our SBK LIP BALM. With the SBK LIP MATTE in your lighter color and apply to your entire lips. Follow with outlining your lips with the darker SBK LIP MATTE shade. Then lightly blend pigment inwards by gently rubbing your lips together then followed by fingertips or a clean, dry cotton bud.

See, super simple!!! Let your lips be the star of your show without breaking the bank!

SBK LIP MATTE Colors
